
State police are looking for witnesses to a serious crash on Route 15 in Wallingford Thursday morning.
The crash happened on Route 15 South near Exit 66 just before 8 a.m.

A 34-year-old Shelton man was driving a pickup when another vehicle struck the truck from behind, according to state police.
The force of the collision caused the pickup to rollover, hit a wire rope guardrail, and roll down an embankment. The driver was thrown from the pickup, police said.

He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The other driver was not injured.
Route 15 South was closed for several hours. It reopened around 11 a.m.

The closure was between exits 66 and 65.
