Whitney Avenue in Hamden has reopened after a crash with injuries closed it for part of the afternoon on Sunday.
Firefighters were called to a crash at the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Bittersweet Lane around 1:30 p.m.
According to Hamden fire officials, one patient was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital. Firefighters did not release details about the severity of the patient's injuries.
Whitney Avenue near Lovig Lane was closed temporarily, but has since reopened.
