Route 8 southbound in Derby has reopened after a multi-car crash with serious injuries closed it for hours on Wednesday morning.
State police said the two-car crash closed the highway between exits 19 and 17. It has since fully reopened.
According to authorities, serious injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
