Two cars and equipment were damaged when a barn in Branford caught fire early Monday morning.
Firefighters responded to a barn fire on Sunset Beach Road just before 5 a.m.
The barn was used as a garage and a shop, according to fire officials.
The fire was under control just after 5:30 a.m.
