The Bridgeport Fire Department Marine Unit and fireboat as well as the harbor master responded to a boat in distress in Cedar Creek after a report of a sailboat that hit the rocks Thursday morning.
They found a sailboat against the rocks with one person and three small dogs on board.
The fire department Tweeted that the boat was secured.
