A condo complex on Cromwell Hills Drive in Cromwell has been evacuated because of roof collapse concerns and it could be a day or two until two affected buildings s habitable.
Two buildings of Cromwell Gardens Condo Complex have been temporarily condemned and 144 units are affected. They are flawed but not in imminent danger, officials said.
The building was evacuated because residents heard cracking noises.
Firefighters are at the scene. The American Red Cross has set up a temporary shelter at Cromwell Town Hall, at 41 West St. in Cromwell.
