The Connecticut Department of Labor said their filing system is working again after a power outage.

The outage occurred Sunday evening and was still impacting the unemployment benefits filing system as of early Monday afternoon, according to the department.

Any filers using the green button on the website to file for regular state unemployment, Pandemic Emergency Unemployment compensation or extended benefits were not able to use the system while it was down, the department said.

People filing with the red button for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) were not impacted.

Employers were also not able to file quarterly returns and filers were unable to check their account status or change their direct deposit status during the outage, according to the department.

The power outage was resolved Monday afternoon. The department said no information was lost during the outage.

The outage was heat-related, according to the department.
