Assaulter Gets Girl Pregnant, Gets 36-Years

A Connecticut judge has imposed what may turn out to be a life prison sentence on an Albanian refugee who sexually assaulted a teenage girl and got her pregnant.

Manchester Superior Court Judge William Bright Jr. Handed down a 36-year sentence on Skender Mustafaj, 53, on Thursday.

Authorities say Mustafaj, of Manchester, impregnated a 15-year-old girl, who gave birth in 2005 and gave the baby up for adoption. The girl told police she had sex with Mustafaj more than 20 times beginning when she was 13. DNA tests confirmed that Mustafaj was the father.

He is also accused in another case of sexually abusing another girl for several years, beginning when she was 11.

Mustafaj made several outbursts during the sentencing hearing. He says the girls are lying.
