Himes vs. Machine: Machine Wins

First Watson took on Jeopardy!, then it took on Congress and won.

IBM's supercomputer, named Watson, handily beat four U.S. Representatives in a trivia contest on Monday night, including Connecticut's Jim Himes.

Himes was a gracious winner, though, kissing Watson's virtual LCD as he left the stage, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Rep. Rush Holt, of New Jersey, did manage to beat Watson. He also happens to be a five-time Jeopardy! winner.

Before taking on Congress, Watson defeated two previous Jeopardy! champions, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter, in a three-day contest on the show last month.
