Teen Charged With Convenience Store Murder

A 15-year-old Connecticut boy has been arraigned on a murder charge, accused of killing a man during a dispute at a convenience store on Easter. Christian Ordonez was brought to court Thursday. He is accused of shooting and killing a 24-year-old man last Sunday at the store on Pembroke Street. The judge closed off the arraignment because of the teen's age. No other details about him are being released. The judge ordered Ordonez held in lieu of bond and continued the case for 10 days.


Arrested Again

A  former investment adviser from Farmington has been arrested for a third time, accused of bilking clients, a state prosecutor said. Antonios Tsikitas, 29, is already facing racketeering charges, accused of bilking other clients of nearly $1 million. He was arrested for a third time Thursday on larceny charges after another victim came forward. He previously was accused of stealing nearly $1 million from investors who sought his advice at his Hartford and Avon offices. Tsikitas is free on bond and due in Hartford Superior Court May 14.


Fatal Accident

Norwich police are investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle.  A man crashed his sports motorcycle into the side of the SUV Thursday afternoon on Sandy Lane, police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released his name.
