Shoot Me, I'm Drunk!

A biologist for the U.S Department of Agriculture tried to avoid arrest on a drunken-driving charge last weekend by claiming he was a federal police officer, then allegedly begged officers to shoot him when his request failed, according to the Connecticut Post.


Nanny Accused of Stealing Jewelry

A Trumbull college student has been accused of stealing nearly $15,000 in jewelry from the home of a local couple where she worked as a nanny, according to the Connecticut PostMegan Marino, 20, of Kingsbury Drive, surrendered to police Saturday after being told there was a warrant for her arrest.


Body Found in Padanaram Reservoir

A man was found dead in Danbury near the Padanaram Reservoir, according to Danbury Police. The victim's body was discovered Tuesday afternoon. He was described as a balding man about 38 years old. Police consider the death suspicious. The chief medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy Wednesday to try to confirm his identity and the cause of death. Danbury police are asking anyone with information to call them.
