Man Committed For Beating Death

A man will be joining his twin brother at the state's mental hospital for the beating death of his brother's wife. Antonio Bennings, 45, was committed to the Whiting Forensic Division of Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown. Bennings had previously being declared not guilty by reason of insanity for the 2004 murder of Vonda Bennings.

Addison Bennings was previously found not guilty by reason of insanity and was committed for up to the rest of his life for murdering his wife with Antonio's help. Psychiatrists said both brothers suffer from hallucinations and believed Vonda Bennings was plotting with the U.S. government to implant mind-controlling computer chips in their bodies.
