Connecticut State Police have identified a man found dead in the Higganum section of Haddam Saturday.
Police identified the victim as 36-year-old Robert Gardner.
Troopers and a K9 had been searching for Gardner after receiving a report that he had gone out for a walk the day before and never returned.
Gardner's body was found near 280 Killingworth Road.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
No other details were immediately available.
