Ex-Supermodel's Super Settlement

$270,000 per month might sound like a lot, unless your ex is Peter Brant

Stephanie Seymour's days of strolling down the runway for Victoria’s Secret are over, but she's still reeling in the money. And it looks like the former model will continue to live lavishly after she and her wealthy husband split.

A Superior Court judge in Middletown just issued an order in the divorce case of Seymour and her soon to be ex-husband, newsprint magnate, Peter Brant, of Greenwich, the Stamford Advocate reports.

Brant, who lists assets of about $490 million, was supposed to start paying his wife of 16 years $270,000 a month in alimony and support for their three kids on Oct. 23.

While some might think this is a huge amount of money, it's chump change compared to what Brant is worth.

Court documents show that Brant's monthly net income this year alone has been $1.55 million.

Then there is the property:

The family lives on a 200-acre estate, with a working thoroughbred horse farm, in Greenwich, known as White Birch Farm, which Brant owns. Brant contributes half a million dollars a month to support the farm, the Advocate reports.

That's where the couple keep "Puppy," a rather large Jeff Koons sculpture that costs Brant $75,000 to $100,000 per year to maintain, the Advocate reports. It's an enormous flowering dog sculpture that has been on display in Sydney, Bilboa and New York.

The family also has two other multimillion-dollar homes, one in Sagaponack, New York, and the other in Palm Beach, Florida.

Brant spends about $30,000 a month on household supplies -- anything from "toothpaste to towels,” his financial affidavit shows, according to the Advocate.

He also donates $216,000 a month to the Brant Foundation, which maintains an art museum across the street from White Birch Farm.

While most kids go to Disneyland over the summer, the Brant kids went on a one-week voyage to the south of France. Dad chartered a 150-foot yacht for $300,000.

He's knocked his wife for her spending habits, $257,000 per month -- $50,000 of which is for new clothes alone. He's also accused her of stealing his prized items from their Greenwich manse.
