Destiny Africa Delivers Message of Hope Through Music

The songs are of joy and hope.

If your spirits need uplifting, Uganda’s Destiny Africa Children’s Choir might be able to help.

You wouldn’t know by their joyous smiles and impressive dance moves, but these children have seen the ravages of war, poverty and AIDS in their community.

But they have overcome dire circumstances through the Kampala Children’s Center, a non-profit organization that rescues orphans and provides them with the love, care and education they deserve.

Destiny Africa has become a voice for many suffering children in Africa and around the world over and spreads the word of hope through song and dance.

Through their music and art, they are influencing church leaders, leaders of nations, the corporate world and inspiring fellow children.

They will perform on Friday at Windsor High School, 50 Sage Park Road, in Windsor and has additional concerts in Connecticut in May, June and July.

They also have several other local concerts.

The group has performed at Liberty Christian Center International in Hartford, at Middlesex Community College in Middletown and Park Congregational Church in Norwich.
