Detectives from New London Police are investigating after a man was shot early Sunday morning.
Police say they received notification from L+M Hospital shortly before 12:45 a.m. that a man with gunshot wounds had arrived at the hospital.
After officers arrived on scene, they determined the man was shot near 13 Washington Street. The scene was secured and detectives processed the scene.
The man who was shot remains hospitalized. Authorities have not released his identity.
