Man Shot, Another Suffers Injuries in Hartford

Police in Hartford are looking into what led up to an incident Saturday that left two men injured.

It happened in the area of 600 Broad Street just after 2 p.m.

Hartford Police say they had initially responded to the area of 600 Broad Street after being alerted to a ShotSpotter activation and later began investigaing the possibility that two people had been shot.

Authorities eventually found a man in his thirties nearby suffering from what are described as minor injuries. He was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

It is unclear if his injuries were consistent with that of a gunshot.

While officers were on scene investigating, a man had been driven to an area hospital for treatment after he had been shot. He is currently listed in stable condition.
