A driver was hospitalized with minor injuries after crashing into a pole in Ellington early Wednesday morning, closing Middle Road for hours.
The driver crashed near Pinney Street and was closed for hours as crews worked to replace the pole.
An ambulance transported the driver to Rockville Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
As of 5:41 a.m.,there were 93 power outages in Ellington, but the power has since been restored, according to Eversource.
