Dry weather is here to stay through tomorrow but a storm brings rain on Thursday.
Skies will remain clear tonight and winds will be light, and that means temperatures will fall back into the 20s. The average low temperature is near freezing.
Clouds increase tomorrow, first in western areas then in eastern areas. It will be a decent day but not as bright as today. High temperatures will range from the upper 40s to the lower 50s.
While Thursday morning is mainly dry and cloudy, rain will be on Connecticut's doorstep. A few showers are possible early but the bulk of the rain waits until the afternoon and evening.
There's still some uncertainty as to when the heaviest rain falls, but it definitely looks to occur later on Thursday as opposed to earlier. Some indications keep rain around until Friday morning.
Temperatures will be unseasonably warm on Thursday, in the middle and upper 50s.
Skies clear on Friday, even with the possibility of lingering early morning rain. It should turn out to be a nice afternoon. Temperatures will approach 60 degrees!

Believe it or not, the average high temperature is 49 degrees on Saturday, and that's close to the forecast. The sky will feature mixed clouds and sunshine, and a rain or snow shower is possible at night.
Sunday's even colder. Unseasonably cold. Temperatures will only peak in the upper 30s in the hill towns and middle 40s elsewhere. Again, a blend of clouds and sun is expected.
Early indications for the start of the next workweek show dry but unseasonably cold weather continuing.
