Deercliff Road in Avon is closed after a dump truck went off the road into a pond and flipped over onto its side, according to police.
Police said no one was injured and no fluids from the vehicle leaked.
Crews from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was called and are monitoring the removal of engine oil and fuel from the truck.
Homes on Deercliff are only8 accessible from Ely Road in Farmington until the road reopens.
