An engine repair company is cutting 90 jobs in East Windsor. Wood Group Gas Turbine Services, which is based in Scotland, says it will eliminate the jobs by the end of September.
The company says it will discontinue some of the operations at their turbine component repair business in East Windsor. Wood Group blames the move on depressed conditions in the North American gas turbine overhaul and repair market.
A spokesperson says they will give the employees that are losing their jobs 60 days notice to give them time to find new jobs or new training before they are laid off.
