East Windsor Middle School Dismissed After Possible Bomb Threat

The superintendent's office said the safety protocol was activated.

Students were dismissed from East Windsor Middle School at 10:45 a.m. Thursday after the school received a possible bomb threat, according to school officials.

All students and faculty were evacuated from the middle school and taken to the high school for dismissal, according to a statement posted to the school website on behalf of the school system and police department.

The town board of education and police were notified of the possible bomb threat at 7:18 a.m., so officers responded and activated safety protocols, the East Windsor Public Schools superintendent’s office said.

No one was injured. Police said they are and the board of education are investigating this incident, as well as other similar recent incidents at East Windsor Middle School.
