NY-Bound Flight Diverted to Bradley

There is an emergency landing at Bradley.

A flight bound for LaGuardia made an emergency landing at Bradley International on Friday morning because of a faulty indicator light.

The plane is a U.S. Airways Express flight 3534, run by Trans States Airlines, with 39 passengers and three crew members onboard. It landed safely at 8:45 a.m., according to John Wallace, spokesman for Bradley International Airport.

The flight left Greensboro, North Carolina at 6:54 a.m. and was heading to LaGuardia, but was diverted to Bradley when the light indicated a brake temperature problem.

The airline will determine if the plane will leave for LaGuardia after the light is fixed or if other arrangements will be made to get the passengers to their destination.
