ESPN Producer Accused of Peering on Woman While Masturbating

A woman walking a dog got a disturbing shock when she saw a man standing on a stool, peering in a window and masturbating, police said.

The man is accused of peeping -- and more -- while watching a woman get dressed, police said. He’s an Emmy-winning producer who now works as a senior producer at ESPN, according to police.

Neil Goldberg turned himself in on a warrant, Farmington police said, and he admitted to masturbating as he watched a woman get dressed.

According to a biography on ESPN’s Web site, Goldberg is the senior motorsports producer and coordinates NASCAR, Indianapolis 500 and other IndyCar Series broadcasts.

Among his accomplishments is launching the “Crew Cam,” which broadcasts racing coverage from a pit crew perspective, according to ESPN. The idea came as he watched David Letterman’s “Monkey Cam” comedy skit.

ESPN had no immediate response.

Goldberg has posted bond.
