A long stretch of fair weather is expected to continue into the long holiday weekend.

Huge, strong high pressure is positioned over Northern New England and will remain there for several days. Simultaneously, a strong ocean storm will slowly slide out to sea to our south and east. This storm might send a few areas of cloudiness toward us, but no precipitation.
The forecast details include partly to mostly sunny days for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day, along with fair, chilly nights.
Daytime high temperatures will be around 50, with lows near 30. Dry roads, highways and interstates will greet travelers on Wednesday and Thursday.
If you plan to attend any of the hundreds of outdoor activities planned for Thursday morning, you should enjoy crisp, chilly conditions with abundant sunshine.
Black Friday is when we start to see some weather changes. An approaching cold front will bring a few showers later Friday or Friday night and much colder air for the actual weekend of Saturday and Sunday.
The only real problem area in the nation should be the Pacific Northwest, where a series of storms are expected right through next weekend, bringing wind, rain and mountain snow.
