Large amounts of GHB or a "date rape drug" and crystal meth were discovered at a man's house in Fairfield, police said.
After intercepting a package from Hong Kong containing GHP, police obtained a warrant to search Benny Palmieri's house on Millspaugh Drive. Police found large amounts of the date rape drug along with crystal meth and paraphernalia, Fairfield Police said.
The 28-year-old is accused possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute,
two counts of possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Palmieri was held on a $250,000 bond and is expected to appear in court on Apr. 5.
