A family is displaced after fire damaged their Branford home early Saturday morning.
The Branford Fire department said they responded around 1:55 a.m. to a home on Ark Road. When they arrived there was significant fire that had spread into the attic of the building.
The occupants and their three dogs all escaped, fire officials said. No injuries were reported. The fire department said that family is staying at a local hotel.
The Guilford fire department also responded to the scene and North Branford fire provided station coverage.
