Firefighters are responding to a fire at a house on Flanders Road in East Hampton.
The first reports of fire were made around 7 a.m.and crews several towns are responding.
One firefighter was injured. Officials say the injury is a twisted ankle.
Officials believe the fire started in the basement and a neighbor reported seeing a small explosion.
