Firefighters quickly extinguished an attic fire on Bushy Hill Road in Simsbury this morning.
Officials from the fire department said residents smelled smoke around 3 a.m. and got out safely.
The fire was contained to the attic and it was knocked down within about 15 minutes and there was no major damage.
The power was cut as a precaution as firefighters put out the fire.
No additional information was available.
