First Alert: Tornado Warning Expires, Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Parts of Northeastern Connecticut

A tornado warning was issued for parts of Tolland and Windham counties on Saturday morning. It expired at 10 a.m. 

A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect for Windham and Tolland counties.

A flash flood warning has been issued for parts of Litchfield County. A flash flood watch remains in effect for the rest of Connecticut through Saturday afternoon.

Thunderstorms are expected to move through the state on Saturday morning and continue through midday. Those storms could contain heavy rain and flooding. There is a slight risk of severe weather.

Sunday will be a much nicer day.
