Motorcyclists came together to honor a fallen South Windsor police officer.
Sergeant Matthew Manieri was killed last September after he sustained head injuries while trying to break up a bar fight in South Carolina.
Hundreds of bikers met at South Windsor Police Headquarters before riding off for the first ever ride for Sergeant Mainieri who had a passion for motorcycles.
"It's guys from all over, law enforecement guys, guys from the other side. We all come together when it's a good cause and we all ride together," Jared Barbero said.
The money from today's ride will go toward charities in Sergeant Mainieri's memory.
