A gas leak has shut down part of Albany Avenue in Hartford.
Employees at an auto parts shop at 144 Albany Avenue smelled the gas and called the fire department, according to Hartford police.
The building was evacuated and the gas company turned off gas to the area.
The road is closed while crews try to locate the source of the gas leak, police said.
Police said lanes will be restricted on Albany Avenue through rush hour but expect the road to be completely cleared before tomorrow's morning rush.
