Gas Prices Continue to Rise in Connecticut

Gas prices have been over $3 a gallon in Connecticut for more than a week and they continue to rise.

The average gas price in Connecticut is $3.11 per gallon in Connecticut, up 10 cents since May 11, and $2.93 nationwide, according to the AAA Allied Group. 

Gas prices have been rising after the president withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal and re-imposed sanctions and the average family will spend about $200 more on gas this summer than last, according to AAA.
