Gas Station Burglar Cuts Hole in Ceiling, Steals Cash: Police

Watertown police are looking for the person who they say cut a hole in the roof of a Shell gas station in the Oakville section of town and stole an unidentified amount of money.

It happened Oct. 27 around 2:30 a.m. at the gas station at 303 Main Street. Police said the suspect cut a hole in the roof, climbed in, took an unknown amount of cash and fled.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, who police describe as a light-skinned woman wearing glasses. Camera stills show the suspect wearing a black mask over half her face, a black shirt and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
