A career expo with 75 employers looking to fill 3,500 open positions will take place Thurs., Oct. 5 in Hartford.
Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut will host the "Get Hired Hartford" Career Expo with the goal of connecting jobseekers with hiring managers.
The event is set to take place at the Connecticut Convention Center from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday.
Employers at the event are hiring in a number of fields including banking, insurance, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare.
“Goodwill’s mission is to provide individuals with the means to achieve independence and provide them the opportunity for meaningful employment,” said Vickie Volpano, President and CEO, Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut. “This event furthers our mission by connecting employers with qualified job seekers.”
In addition to meeting job seekers, job candidates will able to utilize other resources including resume reviews, free career workshops, and professional portraits or headshots.
