Groton-New London Airport has reopened after an incident involving a private aircraft, authorities said.
The Connecticut Airport Authority said that an "incident involving a private single-engine aircraft" at approximately 5 p.m. prompted the closure. The airport reopened at at 6:30 p.m., officials said.
No injuries are reported at this time. No additional information was immediately available.
