2 Hospitalized After Shooting on Belden Street in Hartford

Hartford police are investigating a shooting in the area of 17 Belden Street in Hartford around 3 p.m. on Sunday that sent two people to the hospital. 

The shooting happened in front of the building and police found spent shell casings, fresh drops of blood, damage to the front window and projectiles in the common hallway, according to a news release from police. 

Officers did not find any victims, but learned that two people were transported to the Saint Francis Hospital in private vehicles.

Police have not released the name of a suspect, but said they are looking for a man and a two-door silver Honda that is missing a right front hubcap.
