An 17-year-old Hartford boy was shot and killed in Hartford early Friday morning and police are looking for the shooter.
Shot spotter notified police of 10 shots on Huntington Street just before 1 a.m. and officers located the victim, 17-year-old Tyron George in a driveway on Collins Street. He had been shot several times.
George was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Investigators are looking for evidence and witnesses who will lead them to a suspect.
Huntington Street was closed at Collins Street, but has reopened.
