Hartford Police are investigating after a 36-year-old man was shot on Hughes Street on Saturday afternoon.
According to police, Hartford Police Major Crimes Division responded to assist patrol officers on Hughes Street after getting a report of a man who was shot around 3:30 p.m.
Officers said a 36-year-old man from Hartford suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. He is in stable condition at Hartford Hospital.
Police found evidence of gunfire at the scene.
Officers said the shooting appeared to be a targeted attack.
