Hartford police are investigating after a man was shot in the back on Pavilion Street Thursday night and died.
The 29-year-old man was shot several times and he was taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where he died, according to police.
Hartford Police Deputy Chief Brian Foley said police received a 911 call just after 9:30 p.m. and the Major Crimes Division is investigating the shooting.
Police said they do not have any suspects or victims and they are asking anyone with information to come forward.
