A hiker fell at Mount Higby Wednesday morning and emergency crews are bringing him down. He's in stable condition but his back is hurting.
Emergency crews from Middlefield and Meriden responded around 6:45 a.m. when the hiker called for help. He is in stable condition but complaining of back pain, according to people at the scene. He said he could see the police academy.
