Home Health Aide Stole $100K Worth of Rings: Police

A home health aide is accused of stealing several rings from a woman in her care in Stratford and police said the rings are worth more than $100,000. 

Police launched an investigation on March 18 when they received reports of suspected theft and have charged 32-year-old Nicole Passander, of Ansonia, with first-degree larceny. 

Passander was taken into custody on April 6, posted a $30,000 bond and she is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on April 13.
