CT Man wanted for Murder Killed in Texas Shootout

A man from Kent who was wanted for murder and attempted murder after a couple was stabbed in Tennessee, was shot and killed in an altercation with a deputy sheriff in Texas. Full story here.

Mueller to Testify Publicly Before Congress

A federal judge on Thursday refused to dismiss the government's lawsuit against disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong and a number of associates for alleged doping and use of banned performance-enhancing techniques, The Associated Press reported. Judge Robert Wilkins ruled in favor of the government's position that Armstrong owed an obligation to pay money due to the alleged breach of his sponsorship agreements he made as lead rider for a team backed by the U.S. Postal Service.
