Part of Interstate 95 in East Lyme was shut down Sunday night after a person was shot during a disturbance.
State Police said troopers responded to I-95 North at exit 76 for reports of a shooting and the victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The highway was briefly shut down.
The incident remains under investigation. Police said there is no threat to the public.
