A New Haven police officer seriously injured in a car accident in September is now being treated at a rehabilitation center in New York.
Officer Diane Gonzalez remains unconscious, but was released from Yale-New Haven Hospital Tuesday.
Gonzalez was rushed to the hospital in September when her cruiser collided with another cruiser on the way to an emergency call.
Sergeant Dario “Scott” Aponte was killed in the crash.
