Two people were seriously injured in a crash on Route 202 in New Milford Thursday.
According to police, a 2006 Honda Accord being driven by James Pashley, 63, was turning left off Route 202 onto Connelly Road when it was struck by a 1994 Chevrolet K1500 pickup truck around 7:30 a.m.
James Pashley and his passenger, 64-year-old Paula Pashley, had to be extricated from the car.
James Pashley was taken to Danbury Hospital by ambulance and Paula Pashley was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury by Life Star helicopter, according to police. Both victims were still hospitalized Thursday afternoon, police said. Their conditions were not released.
The 23-year-old driver of the truck was not injured.
The crash closed Route 202 from the Washington town line to the area of Wheaton Road in New Milford for about three hours.
