It's National Chicken Wing Day

National Chicken Wing Day has apparently been a thing since 1977, and it’s a great excuse to dine in or take out from your favorite wing place.

J. Timothy’s Tavern in Plainvillle is offering a free beer glass with any order of wings today in celebration.

Hooters locations are offering all-you-can-eat wings for $12.99 all day long.

Slider’s has "2 Fer Tuesday’s," so you can get two orders of six bone-in wings for the price of one from 8 p.m.to 10 p.m.

If you are in Danbury, head to TK’s and choose from 52 flavors.

Tavern House Grill in Tolland offers a large variety of wings, including bee sting, bourbon, sweet and sour, chipotle, garlic and more.

If you are in New Haven, Fairfield, Milford, Wallingford and Derby, head to Archie Moore’s.

East Side Café in Norwalk serves up buffalo, barbeque, mild, and Asian fusion wings.

Connecticut is also home to several Buffalo Wild Wings locations.
