A juvenile has been issued a summons after being found in possession of a stolen vehicle in Hartford on Sunday.
Officers responded to Grand Street after getting a report of a stolen vehicle. According to dispatchers, the 2016 GMC Terrain was confirmed stolen out of Hartford.
Police conducted surveillance from an undisclosed location and saw the vehicle was occupied.
Once additional officers arrived, they converged on the vehicle and detained the juvenile operator without incident.
Police said the juvenile was issued a summons on scene and was released to his guardian.
