Former UConn guard Kemba Walker was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats with the ninth pick in the NBA Draft Thursday night.
Walker led the Huskies on an 11-game win streak to first win the Big East Tournament and then on to the NCAA Tournament and a national championship.
He was projected as high as a no. 5 pick in some early mock NBA Drafts.
