Police are investigating after they said a large excavator was reported stolen from a business in South Windsor on Wednesday morning.
Authorities said the excavator was stolen from CT Soil on John Fitch Boulevard and was last seen at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Officers said they took the initial report about the theft on Wednesday morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
